The calendar is pretty much useless (I ended up buying a cheap Staples one so that it was accessible), but the leather pad is really large and looks great on the rough wooden desk that I bought. Quite expensive for what it is, but it's exactly what I needed, so I will pay the price, and I'd buy another one if I ever needed it. I like the "flaps" on either side, as I can stuff things in there (I have no idea how to describe what I do with random pieces of paper that I don't want to throw away or file yet).
